Wylio Refund Policy

Last Updated: 04/05/2026

This Refund Policy explains the rules applicable to payments, Wallet recharges, platform charges, refunds, cancellations, and related billing matters for Wylio (“Wylio”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

Wylio currently operates primarily on a Pay As You Go (“PAYG”) model using a Wylio Wallet.

By activating, recharging, or using Wylio Services, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy, the Wylio Terms & Conditions, and the Wylio Privacy Policy.

  1. PAY AS YOU GO MODEL

Wylio operates on a Pay As You Go model, under which businesses add funds to their Wylio Wallet and applicable Wylio platform charges are deducted based on eligible usage.

The Wylio Wallet is an internal Wylio balance used for applicable Wylio platform charges.

The Wallet is not a bank account, deposit account, payment account, general-purpose stored-value account, or general-purpose communication wallet.

  1. MINIMUM WALLET RECHARGE

The current minimum Wylio Wallet recharge amount is ₹1,00.

Accordingly:

₹1,000 Payment → ₹1,000 Wylio Wallet Credit

The ₹1,000 amount is credited to the customer’s Wylio Wallet following successful payment and account activation/recharge.

The minimum recharge amount is 100.

  1. WYLIO PLATFORM CHARGES

The current Wylio platform charge is:

₹0.07 / 7 paise per delivered template message.

Where Wylio supports other communication channels, the current Wylio platform charge is also:

₹0.07 / 7 paise per delivered message across supported channels.

Depending on the applicable channel and Service, separate third-party communication charges may also apply.

The Wylio platform charge and third-party communication charges are separate.

  1. DELIVERED MESSAGE BILLING

Wylio platform charges are calculated based on applicable delivered-message usage recorded by Wylio and/or the relevant communication infrastructure.

For applicable Wylio platform usage:

1 delivered message = ₹0.07 Wylio platform charge

This may apply to supported communication channels, subject to the applicable Service and billing rules.

Wylio may maintain usage records showing:

  • Message volume
  • Delivery status
  • Applicable channel
  • Applicable platform charge
  • Wallet deduction
  • Transaction reference
  • Date and time of usage
  • Other billing information

Wylio’s billing and usage records will be used to determine applicable Wylio platform charges, subject to correction of demonstrable billing errors.

  1. THIRD-PARTY COMMUNICATION CHARGES ARE SEPARATE

The Wylio platform charge does not automatically include third-party communication charges.

Depending on the channel used, separate charges may be imposed by third-party providers, including:

  • Meta
  • WhatsApp
  • SMS providers
  • RCS providers
  • Email providers
  • Telecommunications providers
  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • Advertising platforms
  • AI providers
  • Voice providers
  • Other third-party communication or technology providers

Accordingly, a customer’s total communication cost may consist of:

Wylio platform charge + applicable third-party communication/platform charges

Third-party charges are outside Wylio’s control and may change independently.

  1. WYLIO WALLET IS SEPARATE FROM THIRD-PARTY BILLING

The Wylio Wallet is intended specifically for applicable Wylio platform charges.

Wallet funds cannot be:

  • Transferred to Meta billing
  • Transferred to WhatsApp billing
  • Used to settle Meta charges
  • Used to settle WhatsApp charges
  • Used to settle SMS provider invoices
  • Used to settle RCS provider invoices
  • Used to settle Email provider invoices
  • Used to settle Voice provider invoices
  • Used to settle advertising platform invoices
  • Used to settle AI provider invoices
  • Transferred to another communication provider
  • Combined with another provider’s billing balance
  • Used as a general-purpose payment method

For example:

₹1,000 added to Wylio Wallet → ₹1,000 Wylio Wallet balance

The Wallet balance may then be used for eligible Wylio platform charges.

It does not become:

₹1,000 Meta/WhatsApp billing credit

or:

₹1,000 SMS/RCS/Email/Voice/AI/other third-party billing credit.

This separation applies even where Wylio provides an integration with the relevant third-party service.

  1. WALLET RECHARGES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

Wylio Wallet recharges are non-refundable.

Once a customer successfully adds or recharges funds into the Wylio Wallet, the customer may not subsequently request:

  • A cash refund
  • Withdrawal of the Wallet balance
  • Reversal of the Wallet recharge
  • Bank transfer of the Wallet balance
  • Transfer to another Wylio account
  • Transfer to Meta
  • Transfer to WhatsApp
  • Transfer to another communication provider
  • Application of the balance toward unrelated third-party charges

The customer should therefore recharge only an amount that it reasonably expects to use for Wylio Services.

This rule applies to unused Wallet balances as well as Wallet balances that have not yet been fully consumed through Wylio platform usage.

  1. WALLET BALANCES ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE

Wylio Wallet balances are maintained for the specific Wylio account to which the funds were added.

Wallet balances cannot be transferred, assigned, merged, or moved to:

  • Another Wylio account
  • Another business
  • Another customer
  • Meta
  • WhatsApp
  • Another communication provider
  • A bank account
  • A general-purpose payment account
  • A separate third-party billing account

The Wallet is intended solely for eligible Wylio platform charges.

  1. USED WALLET BALANCE

Where Wallet funds have already been deducted against eligible Wylio platform charges, those amounts are considered consumed usage charges.

For example:

₹1,000 Wallet recharge

If applicable Wylio platform charges of:

₹0.07 per delivered message

are deducted against delivered messages, the amount deducted for those delivered messages is not refundable merely because the customer subsequently stops using Wylio.

  1. THIRD-PARTY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE THROUGH WYLIO

Where third-party communication charges apply, those charges are separate from Wylio’s platform charges.

Wylio generally cannot refund or reverse charges independently imposed by third-party providers.

Examples may include charges imposed by:

  • Meta
  • WhatsApp
  • SMS providers
  • RCS providers
  • Email providers
  • Telecommunications providers
  • Voice providers
  • AI providers
  • Other third-party platforms

Any dispute concerning a third-party charge may need to be addressed with the applicable third-party provider.

  1. UNAUTHORIZED OR FRAUDULENT TRANSACTIONS

If a customer believes that a payment or Wallet recharge was made without authorization, the customer must contact Wylio as soon as reasonably possible at:

team@wylio.in

The customer should provide:

  • Account information
  • Transaction reference
  • Transaction date
  • Transaction amount
  • Relevant payment information
  • Description of the suspected unauthorized transaction

Wylio may investigate the transaction.

If Wylio determines that a transaction was genuinely unauthorized or fraudulent and a refund is appropriate under applicable law and the circumstances, Wylio may issue an appropriate refund or reversal.

This section does not create a general refund right for ordinary Wallet recharges.

  1. BILLING ERRORS

If a customer believes that Wylio has incorrectly deducted a platform charge, the customer should contact:

team@wylio.in

The request should include:

  • Wylio account information
  • Relevant transaction information
  • Date and time of the disputed charge
  • Message or usage information where available
  • Explanation of the suspected billing error

Wylio may review the relevant billing and usage records.

If a demonstrable Wylio billing error is identified, Wylio may correct the billing record and, where appropriate, credit the affected amount to the customer’s Wylio Wallet or provide another appropriate remedy.

  1. TECHNICAL ISSUES

Wylio aims to provide reliable Services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Technical problems may arise from:

  • Wylio infrastructure
  • Internet connectivity
  • Cloud infrastructure
  • API failures
  • Third-party outages
  • Meta or WhatsApp services
  • Telecommunications providers
  • Payment providers
  • DNS or network failures
  • Rate limits
  • Third-party policy changes
  • Maintenance
  • Security incidents
  • Other circumstances beyond Wylio’s reasonable control

Customers experiencing a technical issue should report it to:

team@wylio.in

Wylio may investigate the issue.

If Wylio confirms a material technical issue attributable to Wylio that materially affected paid Wylio platform usage, Wylio may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law:

  • Correct the billing issue
  • Credit an appropriate amount to the Wylio Wallet
  • Provide service credits
  • Provide another reasonable commercial remedy

A technical issue does not automatically create an entitlement to a cash refund.

  1. NO REFUND FOR UNUSED WALLET BALANCE

A customer cannot request a refund merely because:

  • The customer stops using Wylio
  • The customer sends fewer messages than expected
  • The customer no longer needs the Services
  • The customer changes its business strategy
  • The customer changes communication providers
  • The customer does not use the entire Wallet balance
  • The customer does not use the Wallet balance within an expected period

Wallet funds are added for the purpose of using eligible Wylio Services and platform charges.

Customers should therefore consider their expected usage before adding funds.

  1. ACCOUNT CLOSURE

A customer may stop using Wylio at any time, subject to applicable contractual, legal, billing, and data-retention requirements.

Closing or discontinuing an account does not automatically create a right to:

  • Refund unused Wallet funds
  • Withdraw Wallet funds
  • Transfer Wallet funds
  • Convert Wallet funds into cash
  • Transfer Wallet funds to Meta or WhatsApp
  • Transfer Wallet funds to another communication provider

Any applicable refund or remedy remains subject to this Refund Policy and mandatory applicable law.

  1. PROMOTIONAL CREDITS

Wylio may, at its discretion, provide promotional credits, bonuses, adjustments, or other credits.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional credits:

  • Have no cash value
  • Are not refundable
  • Are not transferable
  • Cannot be withdrawn
  • Cannot be transferred to third-party billing
  • May be subject to additional conditions
  • May expire or be removed according to the applicable promotional terms
  1. TAXES

Applicable taxes, duties, levies, or government charges may apply to Wylio Services and payments as required by applicable law.

Any tax-related treatment of refunds, credits, or adjustments will be handled according to applicable law.

  1. REFUND REQUESTS

Where a refund or adjustment may be available under this Policy or applicable law, requests should be submitted to:

team@wylio.in

The request should include:

  • Customer/business name
  • Wylio account information
  • Transaction reference
  • Payment date
  • Amount
  • Relevant usage information
  • Reason for the request
  • Supporting information, where applicable

Wylio may request additional information necessary to investigate the request.

Refund or adjustment requests will be reviewed based on:

  • This Refund Policy
  • The Wylio Terms & Conditions
  • Applicable law
  • Billing records
  • Usage records
  • Payment records
  • Technical records
  • The circumstances of the request
  1. REFUND METHOD

Where Wylio approves a refund, the refund may generally be processed using the original payment method or another method permitted by the applicable payment provider and applicable law.

The timing of a refund may depend on:

  • Wylio’s processing time
  • Payment-provider processing
  • Banking systems
  • Payment-network processing
  • Other third-party processing requirements
  1. NO AUTOMATIC REFUND RIGHT

Except where required by applicable law or expressly approved by Wylio under this Policy, payment for Wylio Wallet recharge or usage does not create an automatic right to a refund.

In particular:

₹1,000 Wallet recharge → ₹1,000 Wallet credit → non-refundable and non-transferable

subject to applicable law and the limited exceptions expressly described in this Policy.

  1. FUTURE COMMERCIAL MODEL CHANGES

Wylio may introduce additional commercial models, subscriptions, plans, enterprise arrangements, add-ons, or other paid Services in the future.

Where a future Service has different refund or cancellation rules, those rules may be communicated through:

  • The Wylio website
  • Customer dashboard
  • Application
  • Order form
  • Commercial agreement
  • Enterprise agreement
  • Pricing page
  • Email
  • Other reasonable means

Where a separate written agreement expressly provides different refund terms, that agreement may govern the applicable transaction.

  1. POLICY UPDATES

Wylio may update this Refund Policy from time to time.

Updates may be made to reflect:

  • Changes to Wylio Services
  • Changes to pricing
  • Changes to Wallet functionality
  • Changes to billing systems
  • Changes to third-party services
  • Changes to applicable law
  • Changes to commercial models
  • Operational requirements

The updated policy will state the applicable Last Updated date.

Changes will become effective according to the effective date stated in the updated policy or, where no different effective date is stated, upon publication on the Wylio website.

  1. RELATIONSHIP WITH THE TERMS & CONDITIONS

This Refund Policy forms part of the broader Wylio contractual framework and should be read together with the Wylio Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

The Wylio Terms currently provide that:

Wylio Wallet → Wylio platform charges

and:

Third-party billing → applicable third-party communication/platform charges

These are separate billing components.

The Terms also state that Wallet balances cannot generally be converted into cash, transferred to a bank account, transferred to Meta/WhatsApp billing, or applied toward unrelated third-party invoices.

  1. LEGAL COMPLIANCE

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any refund, consumer, statutory, or other right that cannot legally be excluded, restricted, or waived under applicable law.

Where mandatory applicable law provides a right that conflicts with this Refund Policy, the mandatory legal requirement will apply to the extent required.
